Our technicians use these surveys to determine a potential customer’s eligibility to install and receive high-speed internet. Upon thoroughly reviewing all options available, the field technician will evaluate the signal to ensure the maximum strength the signal is able to maintain from the tower. Before beginning the installation, our technicians will discuss the site survey results and coordinate with the homeowner on where the best placement will be for the radio outside and the MESH Router inside the home.

The STW Tech Team recommends the router be placed in a centralized location allowing the Wi-Fi signal to be available within the designated area. Our technicians can install with your personally owned router or an STW Router Rental (additional fees apply). As technology can become outdated over time, STW recommends replacing or upgrading the routers at least every five years.

STW offers a worry-free router rental program beginning at $5.00 per month + tax. Participating in our rental program helps save money on future costs for replacements or repairs. In addition, we service our router rentals for free and provide our tech support should you need assistance.
